How to solve "Cannot open the disk '/Users/userName/Virtual Machines.localized/virtualMachineName.vmwarevm/Virtual Disk.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Module 'Disk' power on failed. Failed to start the virtual machine" error

This error occurs while trying to start a virtual machine from virtualization client, VMware Fusion; if there has been an unexpected reset of your host machine (macOS) or maybe if VMware Fusion is force-quitted while the guest OS was still running,

You can solve this problem by opening the virtual machine's disk location at Finder or your preferred file browser and then clicking on the .vmwarevm extensioned disk file with ^ (control) key or right clicking and then selecting "Show Package Controls". And then this will open the disk like a folder. There should be a directory that ends with .lck extension, Trash this file and if the virtualization client, VMware Fusion is already running, force-quit it from the Activity Monitor.

After those steps start the VMware Fusion normally from your applications and then choose the virtual machine then start it. It should start without any other errors if you have done these steps above correclty.

That's all.
